East Gippsland Shire Council Visitor signage

East Gippsland Shire sought to extend its visitor servicing network beyond its physical information centres by bringing localised, engaging visitor information directly to key destinations across the region.

We designed a series of visitor signs for locations spanning the Shire, from the alpine township of Omeo to the coastal haven of Mallacoota. Each sign is distinct to its setting, reflecting the character and landscape of its location while sitting cohesively within the East Gippsland destination brand. The result is a family of signs that feel at home in their natural environment yet are striking enough to catch a visitor’s eye.

Each kiosk integrates wayfinding, a regional map and QR codes linking visitors to the East Gippsland visitor website – meeting travelers where they are and connecting them to the wider region.
