Bastow Institute

Education, Environmental Graphics, Interpretation

The interpretive timeline wall at the Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership uses matte and gloss fabricated letters to highlight the evolution of educational pedagogies over time. It is a direct response to the architectural finishes used throughout the building. We use a play of matte and gloss finishes again in a heritage book explaining the work of the Institute's namesake, Henry Bastow.

Nuttshell respectfully acknowledges the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation as the traditional owners of the land on which we work, and we pay respect to their Elders, families and forebears, past, present and future.
